Countless Beliefs, Yet Seldom Taught to Belief in Ourselves
The quest for ultimate knowledge whether there is a God, Gods or it's the Big Bang Theory responsible for human existence, it's an unanswered question.
Our species, Homo sapiens originated in Africa around 200,000 B.C. and yet our written language dates back to only about 7000 B.C. For more then a 190,000 years, humans have dwelled on Earth with no documentation of our past. Some of the earliest writings found by historians were the daily rations of beer allowed for each citizen. This actually makes sense, because Ancient Egyptians and other ancients with limited clean water drank low alcohol content beer, because the initial process of making beer kills all germs in bad water.
The 2010 Stephen Hawking book "The Grand Design" also mentions the Master theory, the theory for everything. Albert Einstein was among the great minds trying to figure out the M-theory. The M-theory, if completely solved would provide a definitive answer to whether or not God brought about human kind or if it was science.
In the "The Grand Design," Hawking makes it abundantly clear that he does not believe in God, and the Big Bang thang is why people live today Hawking and myself belief. Hawking admits that he has no absolute proof of the Big Bang Theory while making a compelling argument for religion. If we (humans) had started out as infants we wouldn't exist today.
The book "The Grand Design" states that Ancient Africans said Bumba was the almighty who had several tummy aces and over time vomited up the Earth, planets, moon, stars, animals and the human (dis) (g) race.
Zoroaster, the oldest prophet known to us, about 1200 B.C. claims the Wise Lord and our creator was Ahura Mazda. (Eerdman's Handbook to the World's Religions.) Interesting how Zoroastrianism teaching, more than a 1000 years before the Bible claims the savior to the human race will be conceived by a virgin woman.
Unlike Christianity, Ahura Mazda did not create evil like God did. Angra Mainyu, the Destructive Spirit has the nature of world leaders, violence and destruction. In the Caucasian religion, Christianity, God created evil when he made Lucifer, his most beloved angel who became the ultimate fallen angel, the Devil, Beelzebub.
The ancient Greek religious philosophy claims Gaia, Mother Earth birthed Gods with Uranus, the father of heaven. The grand Gods of Gaia and Uranus created humans. Ancient Egyptian religion claim the creator of people was the God Khnum. Ancient Egyptian and the Greek religions document that there were many Gods. The first God according to the Egyptians was Atum. ("Treasury of Greek Mythology." and "The Worlds Religions.")
In Greek mythology, 1000s of years ago the human race was on the verge of extinction, so one of the Greek Gods simple created more humans. In the Bible a similar fate happened to people, so God condoned incest, how nice.
And the elder said to the younger Our father is old, and there is no man left on the earth, to come in unto us after the manner of the whole earth. Come, let us make him drunk with wine, and let us lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. And they made their father drink wine that night: and the elder went in and lay with her father: And the next day the elder said to the younger: Behold I lay last night with my father, let us make him drink wine also to night, and thou shalt lie with him, that we may save seed of our father. They made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went in, and lay with him. Genesis 19:31-36. This all happened shortly after they had fled from Sodom and Gomorrah which was destroyed by God for its immorality.
Ephesians 5:18-20;
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery... (unless a man is F-wording his daughters to make more children) The Bible is ridiculous and most preachers shroud the real truth in the Bible.
Hinduism is much more practical then Christianity. The Hindus basic philosophy is karma. Its beliefs are structured more on intellectual and philosophical points of views rather than the Bible's rigid rules.
Matthew 5:29
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
Another sub moronic phrase in the Bible. It's impossible and illogical to never look upon a woman with lust, and if you do, you should tear one of your eyes out?! What if the most devout Christian male about 17-years-old who strays from porn, PG 13 and R rated movies, women's and men's magazines including the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, only leaves the house for school and church, but one day on his way to school /church sees a hard bodied shapely women in the heat of summer wearing legal, but very revealing attire, and the second he sees her, turns his head, but in that one millisecond of arousal, he should rip out one of his eyes according the good Lord's words. F-word the Bible!
Without lust, how would men and women be fruitful and multiply which the Bible recommends we do.
Regardless of your beliefs or disbelief's everything will end as the Greeks preached, even Gods die they said.
Believe in what we're told until our final breath while our loving Watchmaker
loves us all to death, Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart wrote in 2010.

Basic Landscaping Feeds My Souls Positive Side
Landscaping filters time into a useful and gratifying trip into the heart of nature itself while other creative desires harbor in the mind.
Utilizing my days off work in the yard embellishes my sense of self worth and enables me to continue paying 80s prices for rent. The house and yard once owned by my father and mother now belong to my brother Eddie and his wife Diane. Since the house fire in December, I've been dwelling in an RV while my brother and his wife share an apartment.
The fire for the most part only destroyed the attic. All the old pictures of my mom, pops and the rest of my family and friend on 35 MM photos remained unscathed as well as all my Rush vinyls, CD's and books, so all is well.
I intend to have a garden with many different kinds of vegetables this year. As the cold nights are fading into mildly chilly ones, flowers and other plants are blooming which means it's the time of year to frequently trim the dead heads off the many rose bushes and other plants that flourish bright colors this time of year.
If I was smarter, I'd be doing landscaping for a living, but I simply don't know how to get paid for anything I really like to do. At least I have a good job with great benefits again. Now that I'm older, I can embark upon my hobbies with a frenzied fascination for keeping a tidy yard while enjoying ball games and barbecues now and again.

Teenaged Runaways in the 1970s Embedded Themselves into the Heart of Rock 'N' Itself
As required by the 2013 Associated Press Style book, the following book review (journalism story) contains profanity. One profane word to be exact. According to the AP style book, use of profanity in journalism is to be avoided at all cost if possible, but profanity is OK to use in quotes, which I've done, and if profanity in a journalism article is ever used, the writer must put a warning in front of the story. Be forewarned...
"Queens of Noise the Real Story of the Runaways" is a royal rhythm of raunchy music wonderfully translated by author Evelyn McDonnell.
Five teenage girls not old enough to vote in 1975 who didn't know one another began their first world tour as a rock 'n' roll band in Europe, Sept. 1976. Inspired by then President Richard Nixon's signing of the Title IX bill in 1972 which basically deemed; 'girls must be allowed to do what boys do', the five teenage girls set off to play hard rock music. Guitarist / vocalist Joan Jett, drummer Sandy West and 35-year-old Kim Fowley manufactured the first all girl hard rock band to sign a multi year record deal and tour the world.
Fuelled by free love from the 60s, Quaaludes as prevent as crime and corruption in politics and the 70s pre herpes and aids era, the Runaways were a true representation of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll who lived loud.
For a brief time (three years) the Runaways defined rock 'n' roll. They were outlaws, outcasts, abusers of alcohol, drugs, frequent fornicators and rebels who shredded the envelope. When they toured, they snuck out of hotels early to avoid paying the bill and stole cars for their use on entire tours from time to time which they returned after the tour.
The 2010 "Runaways" movie has its similarities and vast differences from McDonnell's book. One intriguing thing for me was that in the movie, an all male band headlining a show at Detroit's Cobo Center in 1977 treated the girls (Runaways) like total garbage. Jett and another of her band mates went into the other groups dressing room and pissed on their guitars. In the "Queens of Noise" novel, the girls neither snuck into the other bands dressing room nor peed on their guitars. "Queens of Noise" claims that arrogant band who were very mean to the Runaways was Rush.
I do remember reading a magazine article about Rush back in the 90s, and the journalist who was back stage with the Rush trio during sound check stated that bassist / vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson exuded a cooler then thou attitude. The magazine article I read stated that drummer Neil Peart was down to earth and very personable. "Queens of Noise" quotes the Runaways then co-manager;
"Rush was one of the most dreadful bands ever, they treated us like shit," Kent Smythe said.
Rush is still my favorite rock band, and for those of you who hate Rush, the way they treated the Runaways in Detroit was indeed horrible, so now you have good reason to hate Rush even more, but they are still my boys.
McDonnell's book, despite the unsavory facts about Rush, still nets a solid three and half star read. I would have liked to have read more quotes from band members and co-founder Kim Fowley, but "Queens of Noise," released in July embellished upon many intriguing details and opened my eyes to what teenage girls have to struggle with, regardless of whether their rock icons or not.
"Queens of Noise" raises some questions that are never truly answered, but in real life, no one or group of people can possible know everything. Some individuals in the music business claim that 35-year-old Fowley was a creep who used the music business to have sex with underage teenage girls. Fowley claims he never slept with any of the runaways during their three year tenure as a band. None of the Runaways confirm nor deny he had sex with any of them in "Queens of Noise."
Many people referenced in the book who knew Fowley referred to him as a legendary prick. Others referred to him as a good person who was all talk and no bite. One thing is made clear, he was indeed eccentric and despite not knowing how to play music, nor having any formal training as a band manager, he knew how to co-write songs with the band and get them touring the world. Fowley never once went on the road with the girls.
McDonnell's book has Fowley quoted from a magazine article saying he was in the music business to F-word teenage girls. It's also stated in "Queens of Noise" that by 1977, the Runaways were sick of Fowley and vis-a-vis. Their 5th and final album, "And Now...The Runaways," released in 1979 was done with 0 percent contribution from Fowley.
Very impressive how five teen aged girls including lead guitarist Lita Ford who was the old lady in the band by 1977, 18-years-old at the time, met each other for the first time in 1975 and by 1979 produced four studio albums, one live one and toured the world twice.

Macabre Medicine
There is no doubt in my mind there is a cure for both Type 1 and 2 diabetes, along with a cure for aids and thousands of other cancers.
As comedian Chris Rock said in one of his 90s skits, the money is in the medicine, not the cure. Simple fact, polio was the last major disease cured by the medical industry and that was in the 50s. Guaranteed, evil science and medical experts are planning a come-back for polio. A lot of wheel chair companies will shell out big bucks for polio to return.
The medical industry, like most others are solely formed to make big money for about 5 percent of the population. If diabetes and aids were cured, there would be no need for prescription drugs which are necessary for the select unfortunates.
One in ten U.S. citizens has diabetes and each diabetic shells out about $6,000 annually for their much over priced prescription drugs. By 2050, three in ten Americans will have diabetes according the Nov. 2010 article "Protecting Yourself From the Cost of Type 2 Diabetes." by Walecia Konrad. (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/13/health/13patient.html?_r=0)
My math has the cost of medication for diabetes well over $19,000,000 a year. In 2050, that would be approximately $57,000,000 yearly patience's would spend just for medication. I based my math on the U.S Census Bureau stating there is currently 318,892,103 people living in the U.S. (http://www.census.gov/popclock/) The powerful men who rule and are ruled by greed would be out tens of millions per year if diabetes alone was cured. The money is indeed in the medicine and it always will be.
According to Wikipedia the U.S. is 5 percent of the worlds population, but controls 36 percent of the worlds prescription drug output.
In the 1800s people had their choice to choose an allopathic doctor or a homeopathic doctor. Homeopathic doctors used vegetable products for the making of pills and favored herbs, learning from Native Americans and old style European traditions. Homeopathic healers believed in stimulating the body's own defense system to heal itself instead of using poisonous minerals the allopathic doctors use. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPUqsZx5ARg)
Allopathic doctors used blood letting for centuries. Allopathic doctors also formed the American Medical Association in 1847 and by the early 1900s controlled the medical industry with the finical backing of the likes of Rockefeller who backed the allopathic medical practice via the use of synthetic drugs and cancer treatments for profit as opposed to a cure for the disease. Rockefeller used homeopathic doctors for his own medical needs incidentally. In short, allopathic doctors were solely for profit while homeopathic ones were on the side of the patience's.
For more than 60 years and counting, not one single cure for a major disease has happened. Cure the disease, eliminate the medications, and with no medications, no big money for pharmaceutical companies and other profiting vultures.
"We have a multi-billion dollar industry that is killing people, right and left, just for financial gain. Their idea of research is to see whether two doses of this poison is better than three doses of that poison." said Dr. Glen Warner. (http://www.whale.to/a/warner_h.html)

Political Jargon Written Well in the Book "The Warrior State."
While shifting through the political details that did not interest me, I was able to easily skim read the parts that sparked my interest and got a delectable read; three stars for "The Warrior State; Pakistan in the Contemporary World released in December.
Honestly, I maybe read about ten percent of this book, but details of the 1000 year war between Pakistan and India do not interest me. What ignited my passion was a quote from Charles Tilly;
"War made the state and the state made war," Tilly said.
This statement is true for all the leading nations of the world, the U.S., China, Russia, and many other nations. As we all know from our reading, there are currently more than 50 wars going on in the world. War is a huge money maker for the select few who run the world. "The Warrior State" does not focus on the issue of war.
"The Warrior State" details such things as how Pakistan is a hotbed of religious, ethnic and sectarian conflict. According to Wikipedia, sectarian is bigotry, discrimination because of religion, class or political beliefs to name a few. Intriguing how Pakistan ranks a 133 out of a 148 countries in global competitiveness, yet is number five in its possession of nuclear weaponry.
Politics and religion go hand in hand in Pakistan, and "The Warrior State" emphasis how political leaders in Pakistan use the young who blindly buy into the Muslim faith and are willing to die for their cause.
The youth who adhere to political lies die in Pakistan like everywhere else in the world, such as the U.S., whose leaders send other people's children to war so they can enhance their insane greed for more power and money.
This book was not written to expose political corruption in the world, but I interpreted that way with many of the things the novel embellished upon. The books author, T.V. Paul is a professor at McGill University in Montreal with 15 published books.
Recently Released Novel "Road to Recknoning" is Below Average
The novel "Road to Reckoning," ruins intense subject matter and thrust the story into the throngs of terrible.
Writer Robert Lautner's book "Road to Reckoning," released in February is a tedious tale of boring characters dwelling in 1837. Twelve-year-old Thomas Walker and his father, a Samuel Colt hand gun sales man travel the U.S., and the father is murdered in front of his son by Thomas Herwood. Herwood, along with three other nefarious fellows steal the fathers guns and leave the boy alive and alone.
The young Walker, after a boring time spent with a distant aunt and her young black slave ends up on the trails of the old country side with an ex-ranger, Henry Stands. The two encounter unsavory Indians and various thieves along the way, but ultimately it's a dispassionate story that never grips its reader.
Murder and the quest for revenge can often be a savagely graceful tale of justice, but in "Road to Reckoning" it's an anecdote of awful. On the bright side, the trial in the book is good, and a fast reader can breeze the novel in an hour perhaps. At 235 pages, it's definitely an afternoon read, a wasted one.
On an impressive note, no profanity was used, and despite the graphic subject matter, it's an appropriate read for young adults. Final rating: One and a half stars.

Murder Mystery Novel "Red 1-2-3" is a Hit.
Murder accompanied by the emotions of suspense, fear and wisdom pleasantly fester in the realms of the brains active tracks, in the book "Red 1-2-3."
The January hardcover spawning of "Red 1-2-3" immediately grips the entertainment palate of ones curiosity and sends it into a journey of efficacious desires. Thirteen time best selling author, including the New York Times, Katzenbach hits paydirt with his latest book "Red 1-2-3."
The word paydirt ultimately is defined as awesome, or at least very good. Paydirt is an old school football term used for positive results for both the offenses and defense. On offense, scoring a touchdown is the ultimate paydirt area. Football players on the defensive side of the ball may score a TD via a fumble recovery or an interception return; paydirt!
The book is a tale of a serial killer who happens to be a successfully mystery crime novelist who uses details of his heinous crimes to write his lucrative books.
What kept this book from or 4 or 4.5 star rating out of five stars for me was the drawn out parts here and there and the lame name for the killer; Mr. Big Bad Wolf.
Without revealing the complete story, the Big Bad Wolf has successfully killed four red headed women prior to stocking his next three red headed women. The Big Bad Wolf solely targets red headed women of all ages and sends them each a personally hand written letter that he is going to kill them at an unknown time and location.
He observes his victims for a long period of time before making his move to murder. In "Red 1-2-3" the Big Bad Wolf targets Dr. Karen Jayson, Sarah Locksley and Jordan. Red three, Jordan sagaciously studies the letters and YouTube videos the Big Bad Wolf sends her and figures out she's not the only one targeted. She eventually teams up with Jayson and Locksley to attempt to thwart the Big Bad Wolfs plans. It's really cool when Jordan purchases a top of the line fillet fishing knife. As she slices tissue paper with the razor sharp knife, intriguing thoughts of killing harbor in her thoughts.
When all three women team up against there advertising killer, intense justification whether to kill or not arise for all parties involved. The ending refreshingly caught me off guard.
Aside from the slow parts in the middle and its pathetic villain name, "Red 1-2-3" is a worthy 3.5 star read.
