State of the Union, or State of Confusion?

Democracy breaks down when the average person feels their voice doesn't matter, that the system is rigged for the rich, accept change is not possible, believe politics are hopeless, and feel the folks elected don't care, President Barack Obama said in the State of the Union Address on Tuesday.

The above words definitely reflect how I feel about politics. World leaders certainly care little about the average working soul, because if they did, everyone who works full time would be able to afford a house. Yes, I understand, a minimum wage worker wouldn't be purchasing a five bedroom house with ten acres of land on beach front property, but even the lowest of income earners working full time should be able to live on their own without needing a second or even third income from a spouse or roommates.

If 100 percent of the people executed my plan of attack on the government, the world would be a much better place. What if everybody, including myself stopped driving, ceased paying over the top electrical bills, rent, mortgage, and all the middle class banded together with the poor in every neighborhood and community in the world, produced our own food via gardens and farming.

On a small scale, imagine if all vehicle owners ceased driving at the same time and had the means to fend for ourselves from what I said above. The powers that be would have no choice, but to make all vehicles solar and electrical, thus ending all ties with the Middle East and sending sending American children to die in the sands across the seas. What if? I certainly am not going to stop going to work and driving, because everybody who owns a vehicle in the world would have to do the same, and that's not going to happen; how much can one person really do?

We the people are simply trapped in the governments web of lies and false fears. The president, Obama bragged about how strong the U.S. military is. Obama said in his State of the Union Address, that our government spends more money then the next eight countries combined on our military. In an ideal world, the president would be bragging about how a college education is incredibly affordable and world peace is a reality. This is sadly not the case. World leaders in every country brain wash its media into believing war is necessary and thus making it OK to send other peoples children to die on foreign soils.

How do we keep America safe without becoming its police? This was one question the president asked with no answer. The world has been an unsafe place forever. Cain killing his  brother Abel when there was only four people on the planet for example. U.S. currency bears the words, 'In God We Trust'. I worry about being killed by a terrorist as much as I do by a zombie. Relax people, the statistics are true, as learned in a college class in 2011, a person has more a chance of killing themselves, then being murdered.
