Eternal Questions

Etched in stone and inked from the quills of the ancients, the words and actions of the gods, fact or fantasy were documented. The eternal rewards of heaven or the infinite damnation of hell was promised.

Mortals ignited the holy wars, killing in the name of their gods. Needless bloodshed and countless deaths in the name of vanity, indecency and ignorance continues to fuel fascinating tales which churn the imagination.

The unseen almighty, worshipers bow and kill for a non existent, dead or a creator that abandoned us thousands of years ago.

Thou shall not kill: (Exodus; 20; 13.)

Limited Laughter

Far too often gracious greetings are met with emotionless glances, or even harsh glares. It's trendy to be unfriendly. Obeying the trends in the presence of the masses. Joyless displays of all emotions in the void ruins of society. Limited laughter echo's in the few forests of trust and joy.

Mortal Mayhem

White or black wings embedded on the backs of humanistic beings soaring unseen to mortals throughout the harmonious and hateful horizons of Earth and beyond.

Deity's don't judge, they simply mirror the final results of mortality. A long dirt nap, or ashed in the urns of time? Upon death, do our spiritual hearts and minds continue beating and thinking in the endless abyss of cold liquid black? Are some souls sent to scream in the furnaces of fury forever? Perhaps there are sensational souls that become breeding lovers and fabulous fools living on in the lush lands of permanent serenity, abundant with creativity.

Slumbered dreams, nightmares and awakened fantasies create coherency and confusion among the living.   Mark Schurr

Transparent Reaper

Schurr Shot picture of the sun using pop color mode
Transparent reaper gathers souls, sends some to scream in the pits of eternal dismay and torture. Disembodied others are sent to an infinite oasis of love and laughter, complete with purity and positive passion. Angels of death summon deeds of despair and ones of sheer delight.

I once meet eye to eye with a doctor of death, for reasons unknown to myself, I'm still entrap on Earth. All I remember about the reaper was the vividly intriguing question marks centered in the black of its eyes.  Mark Schurr

Sex Crimes

The arena's of atrocity are filled with celebrity and political predators. Deviant and criminal sexuality reign amidst popularity and power. The symbolic white pillars of pillage reside in the ruins of ancient Greece and Rome. These pillars also represent corruption and chaos in the White House. Pedophiles and rapist run rampant amidst the senate. Dead actions of justice and peace showcase the piousness powers of politics.

Fear & Hope

Transparent reaper stared into my eyes, he looked neither menacing nor comforting and his cloak had a huge question mark on it. We were standing on a mountain top, and the reaper pointed down to the residue of a blood laden teen aged battle field. All the grass and dirt was riddled with the color red. Exploded blood and guts hung off the bushes and tree branches. Dismembered survivors of some political war where screaming in agony which was piercing to the ears.

The Reaper then pointed me in the opposite direction where soldiers were laughing in lush green grass, and multicolored foliage that was highlighted by clear watered streams and magnificent water falls. Instead of shooting at each other, soldiers on both sides used their weapons to shoot empty cans and bottles of various beverages. No one was dead or wounded, and laughter echoed in the valleys of Valhalla.

"Gwendy's Button Box," A Novella Geared Simply for Teenagers Or Much More?

"Gwendy's Button Box," written by Stephen King and his friend Richard Chizmar is definitely written for the teen aged reader, yet possesses enough flair for all ages, or does it?

Make no mistake, Stephen King is one of my favorite writers, yet his best years of intensely  gripping novels have passed.

Originally released on hardback in May, then re released on paperback on Oct.,31, "Gwendy's Button Box" is a quick afternoon read at a mere 170 pages of large print.

King's bouquet of blood still exists in this book and it touches on the harsh norms of adolescence bullying. This book is also tuned in to the realms of what goes on in the hearts and minds of young girls in elementary school and all the way through high school.

Although written this year, "Gwendy's Button Box" begins in 1974 and focuses on the main character, 12-year-old Gwendy Peterson who receives the Button Box from Richard Farris whose in his 30s. Is Richard a creepy adult man preying on an uncertain 12-year-girl or is he the devil recruiting young mortals to persuade others into consuming the desserts of the devil itself?

Farris gives Gwendy the stylishly looking mahogany box with several colored buttons on it. The box produces chocolate that makes it easy to control your weight and enhance your mind. The box also begets 1891 silver dollars that are worth $800.0 each. Each colored button represent various countries such as Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe and other countries.

The box has fantastic powers that can be used for evil or good. By the time Gwendy goes to high school she has at least a hundred silver dollars stashed away, and the box makes her life much better.

She's in love and is loved back by photog Harry Streeter, she's the fastest person in the county running track, she gets straight A's in school with little studying and her alcoholic parents stop drinking and the three become a happy family again, but what is the price of possessing such a powerful box?

At 16-years-old, Gwendy is a beautiful young women. An intense moment seized my senses as I was reading the part when she was alone on her bicycle and two creepy high-school guys from her school encounter her in her short cut-offs and a tank top. Frankie Stone and his equally demented pal Jimmy Shines are eager to rape her. This gripping part in the book involves a flick-knife which is not Gwendy's. Want to know what happens next? Read the book.

Keith Minnion, artist

Destined for doom and destruction or live a long life loving and being loved? Suicide and murder happens in the town of Castle Rock, but who are the victims? I say again, read the book if you want to know.

The buttons on the box  work for both peace and hate. When Frankie Stone gets a hold of the box...

"Gwendy's Button Box" is a four-star read, it's both gripping and entertaining for both the young and the old, and yes, King's phrase, 'A bouquet of blood' is a cool word combination to me.

Cosmic Stability, A Journey

The Hindu Goddess Earth, picture from the book "Hindu Goddesses" by David Kinsley.

Muted minds laugh in the void. Thoughts of folly and sage go unrendered. Lone roamers hike the hills abundant with spirits thirsty for blood and the deities hungry for harmony. Thus far during the ventures, neither death nor glorious peace has occurred. The quest for purpose and pleasure fuels the fire for even more questions.

Hells Fury Or Pleasures of Paradise?

"Sleeping Beauties," mainstreamed on Sept., 26 is a wild mixture of spirituality and brutality.

The novel "Sleeping Beauties," written by Stephen King and his son Owen is a unique storyline of rape and sexual harassment. Justice and injustice in this book, as in life relies on the dice of the Gods, God, karma or angry deities.

The basic plot revolves around women and their slumbers. While women sleep, they become cocooned, known as the Aurora Sleeping Sickness. If the females are awakened, or even disturbed, they become extremely violent and pulverizing powerful.

One man in particular killed by an awakened Aurora sleeper gets the woman's fingers sunk into the lower part of his eye, and before she rips his face off with her bare hands, she watches his blood rush into the cornea of his eyes. As you might have surmised, this is not a children's book.

Some women enhance the business of 'meth chefs' as the King's so eloquently title the devils powder makers, because these women fear going to sleep. Ultimately, sleep must come, just as nobody gets off this planet alive.

Eve Black, known to some characters in "Sleeping Beauties" as the father, son and holly Eve is the lone woman immune to the Aurora Sleeping Sickness. Without revealing too much of the plot, Dr Clinton Norcross is the focal character trying to protect Eve from the police and most everyone else. Black might be the devil herself, or the sweet savior of all that is delightful and harmonious. The authorities want to either kill Black or analyze her like a lab rat.

The Amazing Tree, as named in "Sleeping Beauties" is either the doorway to the dark flaming pits of hell, (perhaps) or another Earth where women are safe from the presence of sexual predators dwelling  in the anticipation of a lone female within their grasp.

Big Mama Earth, as the King's named our planet, needs to destroy all living things and start over, hit the reset button to begin life anew or Eve Black and the Amazing Tree, which some are trying to burn down, are the gate-way to all that is kind, artistic and trustworthy, right?

Unhinged, Just Plain Crazy, Our President

President Donald J. Trump rarely accepts views different from his own, and his distorted reality from facts proven by journalists, doctors and scientists fuel his twisted state of mind and seem to blind his followers. In June 2014, Trump actually tweeted; Are you allowed to impeach a president for gross incompetence?

The last few days, President Trump has been boasting about acing a cognitive test. Referring to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, Trump said he was pleased with the results. Trump talked about this assessment as if it were an IQ test, but it was simply a test to determine if a person has Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Trump was able to determine the difference between a snake and an elephant, repeat the order of person, woman, man, camera and TV. He was also able to correctly know the month and year he took the test, and he bragged about this.  https://www.bing.com/search?q=trump%27s+cognitive+test&form=EDGHPT&qs=SC&cvid=6b10245385df4ab7af98f1a880bc3543&refig=9aa2cba19f6a420e8d8f86f73420b799&cc=US&setlang=en-US&elv=AY3%21uAY7tbNNZGZ2yiGNjfMCFYA6hIc9sqea1AwEfROadyQGQpgUWFPK52m5H3ZKPJQ5gGpgPab71ra4SfwDUjPupjpIq0fKsWiGjiJHeNCB&plvar=0&PC=HCTS

More than three years ago, 37 mental health experts warned of Trumps mental incompetence, and from everything I’ve seen, I say they are spot on correct.

In February, 2017, these 37 mental health experts, all with an MD or PHD degree in their field, signed a letter warning of Trumps emotional instability. http://www.businessinsider.com/mental-health-experts-letter-trump-emotional-instability-2017-2

An article by Steven Beutler (Feb. 2017) suggested Trump may be suffering from an untreatable STD known as Neurosyphilis, which effects the brain. Symptoms of Neurosyphilis include irritability, the inability to concentrate, delusional thinking and impaired judgment. https://newrepublic.com/article/140702/medical-theory-donald-trumps-bizarre-behavior Trump having an STD would not at all be surprising, so Beutler has a valid point.

From the early 1980s to 2013 well over a dozen women have accused Trump of sexual harassment and his first wife, Ivana was raped by him in 1992. Ivana said in court that Trump had ripped out some of her hair by pulling it violently, then raped her. Trump just throws money at all this stuff and it's all washed away. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/a-running-list-of-all-the-women-whove-accused-donald-trump-of-sexual-assault_us_57ffae1fe4b0162c043a7212

" I can do anything" to women, including "just start kissing them...I don't even wait, just grab them by the p***y" Trump said in 2005. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_sexual_misconduct_allegations

CNN's Brian Stelter said a lot of news media employees talk of Trumps insanity when the cameras are not on. Is he fit for office? Is he suffering from some kind of illness? Is he racist? These are some of the questions that go on behind closed doors of the newsrooms and TV studios Stelter said.

"I think he's (Trump) crazy, I'm worried," Senator Jack Reed said.

Tangible Paradise

Chaotic and evil cosmic forces too often induce sleep and even comas to the harmonious and soulfully sweet Gods and Goddesses, thus allowing evil to flow like Niagra Falls. (David Kinsley / me)

Master, mystery, miracle or the Mahadevi idea, the M-theory, it's the only theory that has all the properties an equation ought to have stated Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow in their 2010 book, "The Grand Design."

Mahadevi, the Hidu Goddess is my addition to the M-theory. If the M-theory is solved said Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow, it will prove definitively if there is or isn't a God or Gods, and the M-theory would determine exactly how the human race along with all the other creatures of nature spawned on Earth.

Ah, the timeless question, how did we get here? Stephen Hawking who is an avid believer in science, not God, made a compelling point for God when he said in his 2010 book, "The Grand Design,"

"It we all started out as infants, we wouldn't be here,"Hawking said.

As we all know from our surroundings, upbringing, culture, gender, nationality, words of  ancient and new, wisdom and folly; God has many names; 'The Watch Maker, 'Time Giver,' 'The One,' 'Mahadivi,' Allah,' 'Bumba', 'Athena',' 'Apollo,' 'Gaia,' 'Zeus,' 'Iris' and countless other names deemed God, The Almighty.

Mahadevi, She is the root of the world, has no equal, the supreme ruler, her womb contains the universe, she created innumerable universes. She is the life force in all beings, the only cause of the universe and she has supreme knowledge. She is ultimate reality. The essence of reality. The great male Gods still have their importance, but ultimately are servants to Mahadevi, she has created infinite copies (male Gods) of them, and they act as her cosmic servants, overseeing the universe she created. (David Kinsley from his 1985 book, "Hindu Goddesses Visions of The Divine Feminine in The Hindu Religious Tradition")

Mahadevi embodies both beauty and unsightliness. Hell hath no fury like Mahadevi's scorn. When she is at the height of her scorn, her entire body blazes with fierce destructive flames, her eyes blaze brighter than millions of suns and the Gods tremble as they see her consume the universe. Dead children are her earrings, dead men are her dance floor and Mahadevi's water sports take place in lakes of blood. ("Hindu Goddesses")

Duality certainly defines the Goddess Mahadevi, as do all the Gods. Whens she's not in her hideous form in both deeds and looks, Mahadevi is the definition of beauty, kindness and truth. Those fortunate enough at the end of time to live forever young, healthy and happy in a world with no leaders or followers will bask in eternal bliss.

Mahadevi, when in her picturesque form entices all lustful desires. The simplicity of her long curled hair cascading down one side of her face as she walks bare foot in the sands of Hawaiian beaches in her faded jeans and snug Rush concert T-shirt awakes a mans desires. Her sincere smile and captivating eyes hypnotize the male ego and summon all thoughts that are gentle, pure and truthful.
Mahadevi, the Hindu Goddess, she might be the ultimate balance of good and evil, or perhaps it's all balderdash.

Until the end of time itself, only one; 'Kindness,' or 'Evil,' will restart the new watch of timelessness.
Truth and love are eager to start a new forever, yet death and destruction lurk in the dark hearts of too many souls, the ultimate of war of love versus hate lingers on...

Mind Journeys

A transparent well garbed fellow hovering near me was indeed Dr. Death, The Grim Reaper. His unique and most awesome looking tote-bag produced the most unusual, yet very nice looking photo album. The Reaper handed me the picture book.

"Cancer Survivors" was the title on the photo album. One particular picture caught my eye. In the photo I was looking at, a mother was laughing with her young child. The caption on the picture read;

'Thanks so much to all the blood, plasma, platelet and red cell donors,' because of you, my child is alive, healthy and happy.' Mother.

Unlike anything metal albums portray the Grim Reaper as looking like, this well suited man, tipped
his hat, looked me in the eye, smiled and said no one is happy all the time, than he vanished.

Choose Life, "TI & T2" Movie Review.

"...Choose Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, a 1,000 other ways to spread your bile across others you've never met, hoping that somebody cares..."

"Human interaction is nothing more than data, choose watching history redirect itself, settle for less and keep a brave face on it, choose losing the ones you love as they fall from view, a piece of you dies with them and you can see that one day in the future, all will be gone, choose your future, choose life," Mark Renton said.

The movie character Renton, portrayed by Ewan McGregor is the focal character in the movies "Trainspotting," and "T2, Trainspotting."

The first movie, "Trainspotting" hit the masses in 1996. "T2," the sequel came to theaters in March of this year, and to DVD on June 27.

"Trainspotting," the first movie is labeled a comedy, which in many ways is true, but it's also a very intense view of heroin addiction. "Trainspotting" in my opinion got its title because of track marks, (needle) bruises where the addict injects themselves. The above quote by Renton is from "T2," the sequel.

'Choose Life' was an anti drug use slogan from the 1980s, which novelist Irvine Welsh and screen writer John Hodge vastly embellished upon. In the first movie, Renton (McGregor) is a hard core heroin addict and his voice-overs for 'Choose Life' immediately seized my attention.

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family...Choose a big TV, cars, washing machine. Choose good health, dental insurance, a starter home, choose your friends...Choose rotting away at the end of it all...nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future, choose life. I chose not to choose life, and the reasons, there are no reasons, who needs reasons when you've got heroin?" Renton said.

If you watch the movie "Trainspotting" and want to try heroin, there is something seriously wrong with you. "Trainspotting" is definitely an anti drug movie, especially when Renton is coming down from a long binge from the vicious drug.

As Neil Young wrote and sang, "I've seen the needle and the damage done..."

In the first movie, Renton, his two best friends and a woman awake from a heroin binge and the woman's infant badly daughter is dead from crib death. I still cry when the father of the child weeps profusely as he's looking down upon his dead infant daughter. The father is also in the second movie, both the character and actor.

If your still reading, you realize "Trainspotting" is not solely a comedy, yet the movie has its hilarious moments. Spud, one of Renton's friends, also in the sequel, has a job interview while under the influence of speed, (meth), and I still laugh out loud when I see that 1996 movie clip.

Both movies, 21 years apart feature the same four main charters, as well as the same actors portraying the roles. In the first movie, Renton, Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy; Simon (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Kevin McKidd) amass $16,000 English pounds via a drug deal, and one of the characters rips everyone else off and flees.

"T2," has some drug use in it, but it's much different from the first movie which pleasantly surprised me. In the sequel, the former friends who have not seen each other for 20 years end up meeting again, and one of them is plotting to kill the one who stole all the money from the drug deal 20 years prior.

Great writing, acting and awesome dialogue in both movies, and the main women in both movies are subtly gorgeous. (Kelly Macdonald & Anjela Nedyalkova) Kelly Macdonald was Renton's lover in the first movie, and she has a cameo in "T2."

Delightful demons in the dark enjoy my presence as I tread the night trails of sleeping suburbia. Too often demons are perceived as devious and dangerous; the reality, most of them represent truth and knowledge, or at the the quest for both. I harnessed various facts and speculations from ancient books dealing with demons to further my understanding of them.

Essentially, demons are a lot like humans, some of them are baleful, while other demons are loving and kind, eager to summon an endless quest for learning and understanding.

Disembodied souls hovering in the spheres of summer nights are unseen as they drift along side me while wisdom and wonder rush through my mind. Wars, Worse Than Hell

Rejoice, O young man in thy youth...(Ecclesiastes 11;9) More than 55,000 American soldiers, average age, 19-years-old were killed in the Vietnam War.

'I'm glad you have a one-day peace in Vietnam because of Christmas. I hope that you could have peace there all the time,' Larry Jacobs, 6-years-old wrote in 1972.

For the children of war, hunger, fear and death are as regular as the seasons. To see children of war, is to seek peace. The Vietnam War is not unique in its sacrifice of the young, think of all the children who died in World War I and World War II.

Think of all the children who died in the gas chambers of Auschwitz, Dachau and Bergen-Belsen during World War II, The Atomic Bomb that killed very young kids in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, yes, think. Betty Jean Lifton & Thomas C. Fox wrote in their 1972 book, "Children Of Vietnam."

On Aug, 5, 1945, the U.S. dropped the uranium A-bomb on Hiroshima. The U.S. dropped the same bomb on Nagasaki just four days later that same year.  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2005/jul/24/secondworldwar.japan

The two bombings killed well over a 125,000 innocent people. The A-bomb raised the surface temperature to 4,000-degrees Celsius, and the intense and ferocious heat vaporized its victims, including children whose internal organs boiled and their bones were charred into brittle charcoal, yet the insanity of humanity allows wars to carry on.

"We do not ask to be rich. We ask only that our family gather together at night and sleep together in peace," a Vietnamese woman with a husband and children said. A quote from the the book, "Children of Vietnam."

In the 1960s and early 70s, it was common for Vietnamese children to lose their arms and legs to American bombings, to be shot in the cross-fire of brain washed soldiers, seen two or three to a hospital bed with burned skin from Napalm, while other children stepped on exploding land mines.

'If only the children could have had the stars, the flowers and the butterflies, instead of the war,' Phuong Trieu wrote in "The School On the Front Line."

Freaks and geeks, we futility fantasize about a world without wars, but the harsh reality of the very rich profiting endlessly from wars will never end, greed rules, sad to say.

"Humanity is mad! What a massacre...Hell cannot be so terrible, men are mad!" a French officer from World War I said.

The poor across the universe need to stop feeding into the lies our sadistic world leaders tell the media, and cease fighting in the trench laden battle fields, and end all bombings. My dreams are old, but I'll always prefer flowers and sunshine over war, and wish that every child in the world could be safe.

"It's utter craziness and so frustrating to watch our leaders operate with so little regard to human life," Jesse Ventura said in his 2010 book, "American Conspiracies."

Beeware

In 2016, Bees were placed on the endangered species list, a first in the U.S., bees pollinate fruits, nuts and vegetables, about 80 percent of our food supply.

Bees, the champion pollinators of the world also feed the ecosystem, which nourishes the plants and all the other animals of the world. Some people claim that Albert Einstein said the human race would be extinct in four or five years once all the bees are gone. http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/01/us/hawaii-bee-species-endangered/index.html

The above Web page also states that in the U.S., a University of California study discovered that more than a 150 different chemical residues were found in bee pollen and habitats across the nation. Pesticides not only effect bees physically, but mentally as well. Pesticides harm a bees reproductive system and also disorients their minds to the point where they can't find their hives or colonies.

It's so easy to create a bee habitat, even have your own hives in your yard to the point where it would be wise to wear a bee keepers outfit. In my case, I went the much simpler route. I purchased flowers that where bee friendly, any local gardening center makes it easy to find out which types of flowers bees are attracted to.

Flowers that bloom successively over the spring, summer, and fall seasons such as coreopsis, Russian sage, or germander provide pollen and nectar for native bees of all seasons according to a March, 2011 article, "How Can You Help The Bees? http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/silence-of-the-bees-how-can-you-help-the-bees/36/Bee

Providing fresh water daily for bees abundant with rocks and twigs lets the bees know the water is for them. Since I started my small bee endeavor last year, I am seeing more and more bees in my yard, so appease the bees. Bees don’t discriminate between weeds and cultivated flowers, so let those dandelions grow. And of course keep your bee garden free of pesticides.

Write Handed

The judgeless currents of liquid night transport my
soul into the regions of understanding and
acceptance. The dark foliage that decorates
the night trails shrouds chaos and confusion.
Lady nights black embrace satisfies
the solitude.

Beautiful Bears

Just recently in May, I was at a state park about 30 minutes south of Placerville. While driving on a one lane road surrounded by woods, I saw my first real life big bear. I stopped the car, grabbed my camera and ran after the bear trying to get a picture. The adult bear had its back to me the whole time. The bear dusted me in seconds as it speeded off the road and into the woods. An adult bear can weigh more then 2000 pounds and run up to 40 mile an hour, and it was afraid of me.

While reading the article "How Do I Become A Big Bear?" in the July issue of Ideas & Discoveries magazine, I leaned that if a bear is facing you, it's best not to look it in the eye, and to also to raise your arms in an attempt to make yourself look a big as possible. The article states, that if it's a full grown bear, it's most likely not going to be intimated by you at all, in such a case, the article advises you not to run, and back away slowly, avoiding eye contact.

When your out in the wilderness of a state park, or any hiking trail for that matter, it's best not to be alone, and if you have a small child with you, keep them close by, mountain lions especially like to prey on the very young.

Alone or not, while hiking, make lots of noise. In the distance trails of civilization when I'm alone, I sing Rush songs loud, my horrible singing voice is enough to scare away any beast!

Rattle snakes, lions and even bears are afraid of humans, if they hear you, they run (slither) off or stay out of your site. (In theory)

Female bears are awesome, it's the sole reason bears are smart and live on. Baby bears are born blind and about the size of an adult squirrel. At first, cubs live off their mothers milk, then as they grow older, the mother teaches them how to catch fish with their paws or mouth, and which fruits in the forest are edible and which ones are poisonous. The female also teaches the cubs how to climb trees and swim.

Polar bears have got to be the swimming champions of the world, an adult polar bear can swim for up to 200 miles without a break, but it's Michael Phelps who gets most of the credit for being a great swimmer.

Crevasses of Creativity

Vivid colorful dreams of sheer delight make it more difficult to awake.

My minds 126,000 light years away from Earth. Andromeda, the only galaxy moving toward Earth's solar system may contain what I'm seeking. Andromeda beckons me in deep rapid eye slumber, she's an inviting universe where I fit in and belong, a universe void of lies, wars, poverty and everything else evil and corrupt that pollutes the Earth.

The habitable planet in Andromeda's Galaxy breeds no evil, leaders, followers or shallow minds eager to destroy all that is beautiful and soulful. Love, laughter and creativity are currency amidst Earth's neighboring galaxy. Deep dreams drive a dweebs desires...   Izzy Schurr, aka, me

The corridors of chaos are leading my mind into the unknown realms of a fantasy world. A world where combat soldiers drink and dine with their enemies on the combat field, world leaders and their money have no say, nor do they rule, world leaders in the 5th dimension are merely dust on the bottom of our shoes.

Driving myself insane trying to explore the countless craters of creativity that harbor in my mind. The distributor of death, aka, The Grim Reaper is nothing to fear, its dark luminous eyes meet mine in the speckled dark streets of sleeping suburbia and ignores me again...  Izzy Schurr

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Nor Cal

My work, Graton Resort and Casino for the fourth year in a row had their annual Six Flags Discovery Kingdom deal, and it was a bargain.

Wild life at Six Flags

Yesterday was my first time taking advantage of  my employers Six Flags package deal. For $29.00 which comes out of our pay checks in two installments, employees got their daily pass to the theme park, and for two hours, the casino had a picnic area reserved for us workers complete with free food and beverages.

Butterfly habitat in Six Flags

All the rides are inclusive, the main reason I liked it. I signed up too late to get a free bus ride, but that was OK, people who drove, also received a free parking permit and the park is only an hour away from where I live.

I haven't been on a roller coaster since the 90s, so I was curious to see if my stomach could still handle them, and it did with aplomb!

The Joker was the first roller coaster I tried yesterday and it was awesome, if your into fast cork screw laden rides, I highly recommend the Joker. I had a blast yesterday, I even paid an additional $60.00 for the Flash Pass.  Before I purchased the Flash Pass, I waited more then an hour in line to ride The Joker, the next three times I rode The Joker with the Flash Pass, the wait was less then ten minutes.

Superman Ultimate Flight, was another great  adrenaline ride, too bad, the Flash Pass was only good for a one time use on the Superman roller coaster, I could have paid $90.00 for the platinum Flash Pass, but the gold was fine.

Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth,  was the only other ride that was only allowed a one time use for the non-platinum Flash Pass.  The Wonder Woman ride is not a roller coaster, but it was a rush! I waited about five minutes because of my Flash Pass, it would have been way too long of a wait without the Flash Pass.

The Wonder Woman ride only exists at Six Flags in Vallejo, and this exclusive ride is a 70 mile an hour wake fest. The slight spinning of the ride twanged my stomach a tad, but it was worth it. Kong and Medusa were also great rides that I rode many times. My tip of the day, if your into roller coasters, Six Flags in Vallejo is a great place to go, and the Flash Pass is worth the money.

I didn't check out the dolphin show or the many other shows available at the park, but I do believe you can swim with the dolphins and there is an entire huge area at the park for children, and many rides geared for the very young. I will do this every year from now on.
