Basic Landscaping Feeds My Souls Positive Side

Landscaping filters time into a useful and gratifying trip into the heart of nature itself while other creative desires harbor in the mind.

Utilizing my days off work in the yard embellishes my sense of self worth and enables me to continue paying 80s prices for rent. The house and yard once owned by my father and mother now belong to my brother Eddie and his wife Diane. Since the house fire in December, I've been dwelling in an RV while my brother and his wife share an apartment.

The fire for the most part only destroyed the attic. All the old pictures of my mom, pops and the rest of my family and friend on 35 MM photos remained unscathed as well as all my Rush vinyls, CD's and books, so all is well.

I intend to have a garden with many different kinds of vegetables this year. As the cold nights are fading into mildly chilly ones, flowers and other plants are blooming which means it's the time of year to frequently trim the dead heads off the many rose bushes and other plants that flourish bright colors this time of year.

If I was smarter, I'd be doing landscaping for a living, but I simply don't know how to get paid for anything I really like to do. At least I have a good job with great benefits again. Now that I'm older, I can embark upon my hobbies with a frenzied fascination for keeping a tidy yard while enjoying ball games and barbecues now and again.
