Hello World

So unique and alone. No one to hold, no emotions to unfold. Books, blogs and dreams sooth my restless soul. I'm the youngest of three in my direct bloodline, so before it's too late I want to say good bye world. The Schurr race is ending soon, a few decades at most before our family is extinct.

I've conquered the self pity of loneliness, all I have to do is read when I realize there will never be a woman to share my dreams and aspirations with. When reading something that is not seizing my senses, re-reading another book always works, it has since October, 2017.  I'm in my mid 50s now, I don't own a home and more often then not, I couldn't afford to buy a woman a cup of coffee, so hence, I don't date or have a soul mate.

Whether or not success aides in the acquisition of a wife, it certainly dictates the confidence or lack of confidence to ask a woman out.

In the grand scheme of things, I'm just a lone lunatic. Indeed there are too many books and not enough time. Hello world, hopefully, my farewell will be in the distant future.

Composed Confusion

The incense of aspiration permeate the soul with the scent of serenity. My mind is no longer exiled in the arrowed words of everyone. At last, the keen understanding of hate and lies no longer bothers me, unless it's about politics. Thanks to Hinduism, religion is now an intriguing  mind journey into the realms of the unknown. The vast reservoirs of wisdom are unlocked doors in every direction. Ancient and modern writing intoxicate my dreams with laughter and purpose, and dissolve the void of solitude. Too many times I'm driven by savage pride. My words and actions should be caged more, yet the madness of my humanity hinders my wisdom and the mystic mysteries of the universe frequently summon the thoughts of my own sanity.

Government V

The labyrinth of lunacy is a mysterious maze of mayhem and conspiracy. The U.S. with its deadly drones, Middle Eastern men enslaving little girls as sex slaves, their wealthy call wives. The Congo killers and mass rapers justifying their evils by naming it Conflict In The Congo.

Journalist jailed and murdered because they exposed the truth. The trends of terror conjure the chaos of the mind. Religious and political fundamentalist adhere to ancient beliefs, and government lies, thus breeding mass shooters and suicide bombers. Peace and harmony are nothing more then idle words while death and destruction reign on. Mankind / humankind, ain't so kind.

The Clash Of Love & Reality

The spheres of time and space are vast, and those who are helpless to the destruction of nature and the invidious powers of Galactus need the aide of the Silver Surfer.

The spherical sensation of the cosmos and its stars spewing their light five hundred million miles away from Earth lure him back to her. (Mark Schurr / Steve Englehart) Norrin Radd, aka, the Silver Surfer returns to his home planet Zenn-La where his former lover dwells.

The August, 1987 issue of "The Silver Surfer The Return To Zenn-La...And Shalla-Bal" explores the realms of love and responsibility ala Radd style.

Upon his return to Zenn-La, the Silver Surfer is considered a traitor to his home planet because he broke his vow to Galactus. To the best of my knowledge, Galactus devours entire planets to keep his powers. The powers that be want between $600.00-$1,000 for the 1968 debut "Silver Surfer" comic book, so my knowledge of Galactus is limited. I do know that Galactus sparred Zenn-La and its people from complete destruction. In return, the Silver Surfer was supposed to find other planets for Galactus to destroy and devour, but the Surfer betrayed his promise to Galactus and is now his enemy.

Galactus still tries to obliterate Earth and Zenn-La from time time, but the Silver Surfer with his cosmic powers always thwarts his attempts. Shalla-Bal welcomes the return of the Chrome Dome, but fears his return may awaken ancient enemies, and spark new wars. Shalla-Bal is now the empress of Zenn-La. She still loves the sentinel of the spaceways, but her responsibilities to Zenn-La, and his duties to the worlds amidst the cosmic reaches of the universe are much too great for the two of them to have a personal life.

"To simply be home, to be with woman I love. We will work together for Zenn-La and for ourselves." the Silver Surfer said to her.

"Man was meant to strive, to yearn...though they have inherited a universe, they possess only empty sand!" she said to him.

I am forever the soul of honor, the beckoning call of space has returned again to me. The visible twin in the spherical void burns across the millions of miles in space. Where soars the Silver Surfer, there, he must soar alone, I am home. ( Englehart, Schurr, ?)

Rush Album "Permanent Waves" is 39-Years-Old

Prior to making the album "Permanent Waves, our usual schedule was tour, tour, tour, write, rehearse, record and perhaps a couple of weeks of Domestic Therapy Neil Peart, Rush drummer & lyricist said on "Personal Waves, The Story of An Album."

The trio of Rush began the infancy of "Permanent Waves" in a place called Lakewoods Farm with a somewhat modernized farmhouse and a cottage set on a tiny jewel of a lake residing on a hundred acres of farmland, ideal for the lyrical writing flow Peart said.

Alex Lifeson, guitarist, was adept at making Lasagna, and bassist / singer, Geddy Lee unleashed the Interface. The Interface is a device that would allow Geddy to trigger all the voices in his polyphonic synthesizer by pressing one pedal on his Taurus bass pedals. This gave us a rich and readily attainable texture to add our sound, and it came in very useful as did Alex's cooking Peart said.

They finished the album at Le Studio nestled in the valley of the Laurentian Mountains, about 60 miles north of Montreal on 250 acres of hilly foliaged woodlands. Take note of the newspaper in the left corner of the albums cover. Initially Rush wanted the cover of the Chicago Daily Tribune News paper with the head-line, "Dewey Defeats Truman." More then thirty years prior to the release of the Jan. 14, 1980 album, "Permanent Waves," the Chicago Tribune executives refused to allow Rush to show-case the news paper's Major Factual Error when Truman actually won the U.S. presidency in the 1940s.

"Permanent Waves" was a parade of guitars, synthesizers vocals, percussion and experiments...all has been worth it, is it good? We hope you agree," Neil Peart said.

Lust, Love, Evil & Enslavement, "In Silver Surfer & Witchblade"

The Devils plan to thrust his universal lies and spread disease and destruction to anyone of his choosing aroused his delicious deceits. Mephisto, the lord of hell, and the harbinger of havoc sat on the hills of hell and schemed. (Mike Manczarek / Mark Schurr)

Mephisto is coming out of his self imposed exile. The devil, like the rest of us, sometimes suffers from boredom and yearns for a sense of purpose and wants to be loved.

In the March, 1997 " Devil's Reign #1/2 Silver Surfer & The Witchblade" Marvel comic book, Mephisto is eager to defile the soul and sample the sweet nectar of Sara Pezzini, because her beauty and power would give him a lifetime of pleasure.

An eternal retirement in the 1970s seemed fantastic for Mephisto, until he became extremely bored in 1997. At the time of the devil's retirement, he thought his instilled evils upon Earth were completed; Sodom and Gomorrah, The Black Plaque, World War II, Nixon and light beer.

There is nothing Mephisto doesn't know, yet his powers are limited. To penetrate the void and possess the power to travel and spread his invidious will across the universe, he needs to restore the T'srri Warship which crashed on Earth eons ago. Mephisto cannot restore the warship, so he plots to deceive the lord of purity, the sky rider of the spaceways, the Silver Surfer to fulfill his grandest of evils.

Only the roamer of the spaceways, the Silver Surfer can restore the T'srri Warship. Mephisto, without the knowledge of the Silver Surfer, gets inside the surf mans head, and even though the Silver Surfer feels strange about returning to Earth, he does. The Silver Surfer will cause the destruction and enslavement of an entire dimension and he won't even know it Mephisto said.

Mephisto's kingdom of blasphemous terror and court of ultimate chaos has begun, and that's how part II of an eight part comic book series ends.

" Devil's Reign #1/2 Silver Surfer & The Witchblade" is a quick and easy read, complete with the poetic prowess of Marvel writer Manczarek, the splendid artistry of Kirk Van Wormer, Adam McDaniel, Norm Rapmund, Livsay, Joe Weems V and Richard Isanove.

Love, Murder, Money, Timeless Tales Age Well

Test the fabled powers of the trees nectar, sip the celestial juice and bask in the throb of exultation while amidst the the jungles of Australia. (Lyle Wilson Holden / Izzy Schurr)

"The Devil Plant," a 1923 short story by Holden is from the first year of Weird Tales magazine. This nearly 100-year-old story is about romance, betrayal and revenge. Silvela Castelar and Rodriguez start out as good friends.

Castelar is an instigator or ruin for Rodriguez. The two friends work together and Castelar, a very deceptive and manipulative genius steals a large sum of money from their employer and pins the blame on Rodriguez. Rodriguez gets out of doing jail time, but his lucrative career is over, and he leaves the U.S. to live in Australia.

While Rodriguez is living in the land down-under, he's poor, yet happy in his new line of work, especially when he becomes romantically involved with a woman named Mercedes. Castelar  comes back in Rodriguez's life and Mercedes winds up with Castelar.

The Devil tree is known to some people as a tree of heaven, its a tree that breeds a rare delicious nectar with a wonderful rejuvenating power. The tree can also lead to a torturous death to those who come to close to it. Rodriguez plots to get Castelar close to the tree, and hopes the strangling power of its thick leaves will be the death of Castelar.

Castelar also knows the dangers of the trees power of death, but the possible reward of drinking its liquid and staying young and being loved by a beautiful women for eternity is a strong selling point for wanting to get close to the Devil Plant.

To have endless youth, love and money, or die long before your time is due are the presented rewards or risks from the Devil Plant.                                   Izzy Schurr, aka, Mark Schurr

Library Political Book Review

Which crimes can Trump realistically be charged with and what is a realistic defense?

Alan Dershowitz, author of "The Case Against Impeaching Trump" makes feeble arguments as to why President Donald J. Trump should not be prosecuted against in a court of law. Dershowitz states that if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential election, Republicans would be doing exactly what democrats are currently doing to president Trump. So what? If Clinton's emails were indeed criminal, then she should be punished to the full extent of the law, even if she had become president.

Dershowitz shyed away from all the sexual harassment and rape charges against Trump, and the most disturbing one, when Trump raped a 13-year-old girl in 1994 at a party thrown by convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Trump just threw a bunch of money at the 1994 rape charge, and even threatened to have the girls family killed if she testified; allegedly! Dershowitz never mentioned this, how convenient. The accuser says Trump raped her repeatedly at parties thrown by since convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. "

"Terrific guy, he’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it, Jeffrey enjoys his social life,” Trump said.  https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-rape-case_us_581a31a5e4b0c43e6c1d9834

Dershowitz claims any U.S. president could always be accused with some sort of crime and put on trail for it, thus, according to him, it should never be done. John Adams presided over an administration that imprisoned political opponents under the alien and sedition acts, while president Thomas Jefferson went after his political opponents for treason. These are some of the reasons jailing political enemies is extremely difficult to do now.

Past presidents from centuries ago used the law in their favor to jail or defeat their opponents in an election, so let's end putting a standing president on trail forever, no matter how much the evidence points to their guilt?

If your a criminal, president or not, it's a legal obligation to have that president put on trail, and if their deemed guilty, they should be punished to the full extent of the law. "The Case Against Impeaching Trump" is a lame fest of why Trump should not be charged with any crimes, nor impeached.  Izzy Schurr, aka, Mark Schurr

"The Dark Half" Is A Delectable Read

Writers make worlds that never were, populate them with people that never existed and then invite us to join in their fantasies. (Stephen King)

"The Dark Half" is about an author named Thad Beaumont who uses the pseudonym George Stark to writer horror novels. Stark comes to live and goes on a killing spree in Castle Rock Maine, the same town where Beaumont and his wife and children live.

Beaumont becomes a prime suspect in the towns murders, and once he has discovered Stark, an awakened evil twin he inadvertently created is the killer, Beaumont decides to stop writing as Stark, and Stark decays away, and Castle Rock is once again a safe and happy place to live, right?

When Beaumont stops writing as Stark, he indeed starts to decay, but instead of rotting away, he becomes very strong, and seems to be mutating into something far worse then just a psycho killer.

This is one of  Stephen King's best novels, at least one of my favorites. The conflicts are strong, especially when Stark kidnaps Beaumont's wife and eight month old twins, Wendy and William.

"Be careful Thaddeus, no man controls the agents of the after-life, and there's always a price to pay. What will your price be and when does it come due?" Thad's thoughts haunted him.

Standing next to Thad is like standing next to a cave some nightmarish creature came out of. The monster is gone now, maybe! You still don't like to be close to the cave, even though you know it's gone, but your mind and emotions play a different tune don't they? Even if the cave is empty, the hideous nightmares and memories linger on. Inhale that cigarette deeply as the smoke bites your lungs in its merciless way as the evil Stark tickles your infant babies with the barrel of a loaded .45.

In October, "The Dark Half" will be 30-years-old. Fours stars easy for this King classic.

For Free, "Fear" Is Worth The Read

"Fear..." was well worth reading because of the Sonoma County Library. I would have been disappointed if I had to pay for the book.

In February, Jim Mattis, the secretary of defense said Trump is a good listener as long as you don't hit one of his third rails, such as immigration and the press. If you get Trump going about either of these two subjects, he's liable to go off on a tangent and not come back for a long time. Mattis said we don't get to chose the president we work for and everyone in the White House room laughed. Mattis said this after Trump stormed out of the room like a little boy having one of his childish fits.

"You should be killing guys, you don't need a strategy to kill people," Trump said to General Joseph Dunford about the current war in Afghanistan.

President's Trumps repertoire of idiocy would fill the Grand Canyon if words were tangible.
Remember when a group of white supremacist killed one person by running her over with a vehicle and injuring 19 more on Aug., 12, 2017? President Trump defended the White Supremacist, who deliberately committed vehicle manslaughter and chanting; "Jews will not replace us" and sporting the Nazi slogan 'Blood & Soil.' There is blame on both sides and you have fine people on both sides, there's two sides to every story Trump said.

White nationalist and former KKK leader David Duke sent president Trump a thank you tweet after Trump's sided with the Nazi clan.

When former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus left the White House in July, 2017. His final assessment of the White House was as follows; The White house is surrounded by high ranking natural killers with no requirement to produce regular work products, have a plan, or an outcome of a strategy and no budget, daily or weekly. It's (White House) a band of chaos creators.
