Colleen Oakes, the author, of the “Queen of Hearts” book trilogies weaves the details of the plot with a moksha style in her writing prowess. Oakes completely changed Lewis Carrol’s, 1865 book, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” to say the least.  

Many Wonderlanders with power will stop at nothing to ensure princess Dinah does not assume control of Wonderland, while others are eager for Dinah to be the leader of Wonderland. The Yurkei’s with highly trained warriors are thrust into battle with Morte, the Black Devil and his cast of mortal warriors.    

Dinah, and her lover Wardley are forced to journey south, to the Darklands, a place of untold horrors, where it’s kill or be killed.  

The “Queen of ” trilogy of books are a well-mixed cocktail of love and combat fought with ancient weaponry.

“The Queen of Hearts,” and “Blood of Wonderland,” are the first two books in Oakes trilogy of fascinating fantasy. I have yet to read the third book, “War of the Cards.” The first two books are three and a half star reads in my view.

Modern Moron Review, "Real Time with Bill Maher"

A mod, Trump supporters with a lust for blood stormed the U.S. capital on January 6, and spread feces on Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi’s office walls, and when you’re communicating in feces, you’re at a level without rational thinking Bill Maher said.

CNN’s Paul Begala pointed out that a republican senator from Georgia refused to shake the hand of a police officer who defended the capital on January 6.

Maher talked briefly about how Fox TV host, Tucker Carlson said the insurrection on Jan. 6 was done by the FBI. First it was Antifa posing as Trumpeters, now it’s the FBI, and worshippers of the insane Orangemen will feed into this absolute balderdash.

“I’m not worried about Al-Qaeda, I’m worried about You All-cada,” Paul Begala, a CNN commentator said on Friday nights “Real Time with Bill Maher.”  

Jane Coaston, a New York Times pod cast host had some good riffs on the stupidity of Trumpeters as well.  

Maher and Coaston agreed with the Republicans on some of their issues, which confirmed to me, this show is truly opened minded, and simply mirrors what’s going on in the news world without catering to Tweeter feeds, which Trump and his Maga Morons thrive on. President Joe Biden doesn’t even have a Tweeter account.

It’s not foreigners, it’s pissed off Americans that are the problem now, Maher said.

The latest episode also had some hard-hitting facts on California regulations, and its far too many political loop-holes for major business’s such as Coca-Cola.

The drought in California was also discussed on Friday night’s show, and how to curtail much of it.

Maher’s opening monologue was funny, and even made fun of the democrats. Maher talked about the summit with President Joe Biden and Russian president, Vladimir Putin.

“There is no happiness in life, only a mirage of it on the horizon,” Putin said at the summit.

Bill Maher said it was nice to have a U.S. president siding with America.

Maher’s New Year’s Eve show in Hawaii on December 30 will also have comedian Nikki Glaser who was his opening guest on Friday night, and she is funny.

When I read Silver Surfer comic books, I enter an unknown realm of imagination and realism. My hopes and joys gleefully joust with my sorrows and emptiness. My heart and mind are swallowed in a timeless realm of creative chaos.

Know Peace, Practice Peace, Clues From the Ancients

Everybody finding the peace will make things a lot more confident.

Earlier this week in Utah, a Filipino Yum Yum food truck was vandalized inside and out, and laden with hateful drawings and anti-Asian graffiti. Utah Jazz, point guard Jordan Clarkson donated a substantial sum of money to the owners of the Yum Yum food truck to get it fully repaired and running again.

“This is bull-s---, there’s no room for that. Its been tough years for this Earth, this country and this world. I feel like us together and everyone finding the peace will make things a lot more confident. In this world we ain’t got room for the hate no more. its got to go out the window real quick,” Clarkson said.

"The Famous Ferguson Case," A Timeless Tale of Journalism

 

The doors to forbidden stimulation became unhinged, and the cathedral of sin was an incipient gateway to violence, illegal drugs, sexual perversity, and encouraged unlawful activities in both politics and religion in 1932s "The Famous Ferguson Case."  

News is fresh information concerning something that has recently takin place. Some events are extremely sensational from the angle of sex, the people involved, and the standing of and how they are reported. Legitimate newspapers report real developments and stop there, but other news sources pander to the lowest tastes of the public and when the news fails, they try and make news.

Thew’s 1932 murder, mystery is a tale of a small-town newspaper whose lead writer acquires details of the murdered banker in his town. George Ferguson, the slain banker was also a world-famous financier. Respected and tawdry newspapers laden throughout America, cover the Ferguson murder case.

Joan Blondell proved her acting skills in “The Ferguson Murder Case.” Blondell is a journalist who seeks the truth and makes news.

I laugh out loud every time I watch the scene were a group of traveling journalist are drinking together. The booze they are drinking was personally made by one of their comrades.

No, that’s a Manhattan, a martini is boiled cigar butts and sheep vermouth.

The desires among the two genders, both physical and emotional weaved its way into the storyline extremely well. Two different types of journalists in this movie become clashed in a combat of words.

The journalists who prefer sensationalism over fact checking get an ear full in “The Famous Ferguson Case.”

Crooked bankers haven’t ruined the banking business and crooked politicians haven’t torn down the government. There aren’t enough of them, nor or is there enough of you. The news should be nothing more than a mirror of public events, and that’s a positive outlooked when being attentive to the news. Four stars easy for 1932s “The Famous Ferguson Case.”
